A car on the northern side of the complex was stolen sometime in the early morning on March 28th. A resident also reported that burglars attempted to enter his vehicle but the car alarm was triggered. This occurred even though the resident has a camera in place. Please be vigilant and do not leave valuables in your vehicle. Residents are asked to please leave your exterior lights on in the evening. The more illumination we have on property, the better. Also, the entrance gate is being repaired and we hope to have it back in place by the end of the week. The board is exploring the possibility of installing a camera system near the entry gate in response to recent criminal activity and several resident requests. Our security team has been made aware of these issues so please do not be offended if they stop you when they see you walking in the evening.

We have been made aware of some recent incidents where vehicles have been broken into in the community. Residents are urged to lock your doors. Some of the vehicles involved were unlocked. These incidents have been reported to the Police Department. Do not leave any items in view in your vehicle. This is an invitation for theft. The Security team is on site every evening at varying times, patrolling the community.
Dear Blvd. Association Members,
The HOA Board is seeking volunteers for the Landscape Committee. The board recently met to discuss and arrive to a plan of action on the landscaping issue, specifically the use of chemical free weed control and the methods of the current landscape service provider.
The Landscape Committee will assist the board on the following issues: Renegotiate the scope of service with the current landscape company in order to identify cost savings, and identify other landscape companies who perform similar services, including chemical free weed control. The Landscape Committee will present its findings to the board, including any potential cost savings or increases.

The Roy G. Guerrero Park, down the street from the Blvd could be chosen as a location for a Major League Soccer Stadium. The Austin City Council will make the final decision. The HOA board has not taken an official position but feels that the owners should be aware of this proposal. If you wish to let the city council know of your approval or opposition you can contact the city council member who represents our area. You can email him by clicking the link below.
